Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said that point guard Kyle Lowry (wrist) won't necessarily need to go through a full practice before being cleared to play.
Lowry is nearing the end of the fifth week of recovery in his four-to-five week timeframe, meaning he may make an appearance in a game or two this week. If he does, he will no doubt be on a minutes limit as the Raptors try to get him back in game shape for the first-round of the playoffs. Cory Joseph will continue to get most of the work at the point the rest of the regular season.
Lowry averaged 22.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game while posting an 11.0 nERD rating -- ranking him 16th out of 479 NBA players.
