The Boston Celtics are finalizing a trade that will send guard Avery Bradley to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for forward Marcus Morris, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
In the deal, the Pistons will also receive Boston's 2019 second-round pick. The move will clear up enough cap space for the Celtics to sign free agent Gordon Hayward to a maximum four-year, $132 million deal.
Bradley's -1.4 nERD ranked 12th on the Celtics team in 2016-17 and was not up to par with his -0.7 nERD in the year prior.
