Toronto Raptors head coach Dwayne Casey has said that DeMar DeRozan may handle more point guard duties this season.
Casey said the plan is to "have [DeRozan] handle the ball a bit more as a point guard, a facilitator, a passer." With Cory Joseph gone and Delon Wright serving as the team's backup point guard, we could see DeMar handle the ball more especially with the second unit.
numberFire's models project DeRozan for 25.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 34.9 minutes per game this season. We also project him for 39.0 FanDuel points in Thursday's season-opener against the Chicago Bulls.
