Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe met with the team about wanting to be traded before the season started, according to radio host John Gambadoro on Arizona Sports 98.7.
Shortly before news broke Sunday that the Suns fired head coach Earl Watson, Bledsoe tweeted, "I Dont wanna be here," so it sounds like he could be on his way out of Phoenix. If Bledsoe does wind up getting dealt, either Mike James or Tyler Ulis would compete for starting duties at point guard. In three games this season, Bledsoe has gone 16-for-40 (40.0 percent) from the field and 4-for-13 (30.8 percent) on 3-pointers while averaging 15.7 points, 3.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals in 27.7 minutes per contest. The Suns face off with the Sacramento Kings on Monday night.
Bledsoe is averaging 25.6 FanDuel points per game this year and numberFire's models project him to score 38.3 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,200 versus the Kings on Monday.
