According to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson, it is "sounding more and more" likely that Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine makes his season debut in January.
It was previously reported that LaVine would be expected back some time in December, but coach Fred Hoiberg said that he'd like him to get "multiple consecutive days or work" in before making a return. With the Bulls in the middle of a rebuild, there's no reason to rush the young guard back. When he does take the floor, Jerian Grant and Kris Dunn can be expected to see fewer minutes, with the possibility that both Denzel Valentine and Justin Holiday see reduced roles on the wing.
numberFire's models project LaVine for 16.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in 2017.
