New Orleans Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans (knee) is expected to miss six to eight weeks from his knee surgery.
Evans has a long history of knee injuries, and this one stings for the Pelicans, as they are already thin at point guard.
Evans played in a career-best 79 games last season. He put up 16.6 points per game with a .477 Effective Field Goal Percentage, while posting a career-high 32.7 percent assist rate.
