Which players have put together the best performances in recent March history?

1. Adreian Payne, Michigan State Spartans (2014)

Game Score: 34.4

It was only a first-round matchup between the 4-seeded Michigan State Spartans and the 13-seeded Delaware Fightin Blue Hens, but that didn't stop Adreian Payne from showing out.

Sparty's senior center did some serious damage in just 24 minutes. Before the game turned into a full blowout, Payne put up 41 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the floor -- including hitting 4 of 5 from three -- and a sparkling 17-of-17 clip from the line. Using over 50% of his team's possessions while on the floor, he averaged 1.13 free throws per field goal attempt and earned a true shooting percentage of 91.2%. When all was said and done, Payne produced 177 points per 100 possessions and posted the highest Game Score to date.
