March Madness: The Top 10 Individual Performances of the Opening Weekend
These 10 players delivered the best individual performances of the NCAA Tournament's first two rounds.

6. Zach Norvell Jr., Gonzaga

Round of 32 vs. Ohio State
nERD: 54.95
28 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals

It's probably not an overstatement to say that the Gonzaga Bulldogs would not be alive in this tournament without Zach Norvell.

Norvell hit a huge three with less than 30 seconds remaining to break a tie against the North Carolina-Greensboro Spartans in the Round of 64.

And then came his performance against Ohio State. After averaging fewer than 4 boards per game on the season, the fact that the 6'5" guard grabbed 12 rebounds was quite impressive. But if you combine that with 28 points, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range, 4 assists and 2 steals, you see how truly phenomenal a performance he put in.
