Wisconsin's Ethan Happ has quietly compiled a stat line that rivals that of just about any other player in the nation. Over 32.0 minutes a game, the senior is averaging a double-double of 17.5 points and 10.1 boards to go alongside 4.6 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.1 steals. For Happ, though, this is the second straight year he has averaged at least 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and a block and a steal a game.

In 33 games, Happ has accounted for a double-double in 21 (63.6%) of them, including nine (27.3%) 20-and-10 performances. He's also managed a pair of triple doubles, all while posting a 33.8% usage rate and 36.6% assist rate.

Happ's 14.3 box plus/minus is fourth in the NCAA, and he ranks fifth on the defensive end alone. An unheralded part of that comes from a 27.2% rebounding rate on the defensive boards, thereby limiting second chance opportunities for his frontcourt foes.

Wisconsin could face up to three top-25 defenses in their section of the South Region, so before long we will see what Happ can do against tough competition. It all starts with Oregon in a 5/12 matchup in Round 1.
