7 Players Who Can Take Over the NCAA Tournament
Which players can lead their teams deep in this year's tournament?

Jerian Grant, Notre Dame

Notre Dame, the 3 seed in the Midwest Regional, surprised many by winning the ACC Tournament. They are one of the best offensive teams in the country, boasting an offense that is better than 99.7% of the country, according to our metrics.

To go far in the NCAA Tournament, past experience has hinted that strong, experienced guard play is a key. With 6'5" senior point guard Jerian Grant running the show, the Fighting Irish can check that box off and hope for a deep tournament run.

Grant is key to winning games, as his 7.1 Win Shares ranks him fourth nationally. The star point guard averages team highs in points and assists, scoring 16.8 points and dishing 6.6 assists per game, which ranks only behind Providence's Kris Dunn among tournament guards.

Kentucky hasn't played many top offenses this season, so Grant and Notre Dame could provide an interesting matchup in the Elite 8.
