Friday's First Round games brought the type of madness we expect from March. A 4 seed fell to a 13 seed, two 12 seeds are moving on to the Round of 32, two 16 seeds lead at halftime with the only one who was trailing down by just four points. We had a 15 take a 2 seed to the wire, some big time offensive performances and half of the 16 games Friday resulted in a victory for the lower seeded team.
All of that fun set up some intriguing Sunday matchups -- with five double digit seeded teams vying for a spot in the Sweet 16 and one already being guaranteed a spot due to upsets in the same pod. While the upsets can muck up the Round of 32 and make for more blowouts, the teams that won Friday are still very good teams, which should set up for a great slate of games Sunday.
