About two weeks ago, I put together a list of running backs to zero in on in each round of your fantasy football draft. Obviously, you won’t be drafting a running back with every pick, but it certainly helps to know who is typically available in each round and what backs are in a good spot to succeed.
Let’s do the same with receivers -- who have become increasingly more valuable in recent years -- by looking at a wideout to target in each of the first 10 rounds.
This exercise should be just one spoke in the wheel of your draft preparation. Here at numberFire, we have a slew of tools -- including our fully-customizable draft kit and an awesome new draft kit app -- to help you dominate your league.
For this piece, we will be using average draft position (ADP) data from Fantasy Football Calculator. ADP numbers are pretty well ironed out at this time of the year, barring any (gasp) preseason injuries. Here is the ADP data for receivers in standard 12-team leagues, although we’ll give a little love to points per reception (PPR) formats, as well.
