Fantasy Football: 5 End-of-Draft Tight Ends With Huge Touchdown Potential
Even late in a fantasy football draft, we can find tight ends on high-powered offenses with huge touchdown potential. Which should we target for 2016?

Dwayne Allen, Indianapolis Colts

Finally, Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener are free of their co-crippling ways. Neither had much fantasy viability when both were healthy with the Indianapolis Colts. Now, they're both the obvious lead option on their current respective team, and it's time to get Allen's average draft position (ADP) to rise.

Allen is the prototype of what we're looking for here. With Andrew Luck healthy, the Colts have an efficient offense that has shown an affinity for attacking through the air in previous seasons. That efficiency can generate touchdown drives, and that gives Allen plenty of chances to pull his weight in the red zone.

Despite Fleener's presence, Allen has been productive in the red zone when he has seen opportunities. Allen has converted 9 of his 21 career red-zone targets (42.9%) into touchdowns, a step above Fleener's ratio of 11 to 48 (22.9%), though over a smaller sample. If Allen can stay healthy this year, he should have the upside we seek.

Allen's not going to have a tremendous weekly floor due to the assumed heavy market shares of Donte Moncrief and T.Y. Hilton. Still, for a guy going this late, it's hard to duplicate his ceiling.
