5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 1
Here are some important -- and interesting -- takeaways from the first week of NFL action, including some gaudy numbers from A.J. Green.

The Minnesota Vikings’ 21 Fantasy Points Were the Most Among Defenses

The Minnesota Vikings finished 2015 with the sixth-most fantasy points among defenses, and they took advantage of a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans, who allowed the most fantasy points in the league to opposing defenses last season.

The defense was scoring fantasy points in all sorts of ways with two sacks, two fumble recoveries and one interception. Despite playing on the road, the Vikings held Tennessee to only 16 points, while Minnesota’s defense put up two touchdowns of their own. Going back to last season, this marks the fourth game in a row that Tennessee has allowed a defensive or special teams touchdown.

With Teddy Bridgewater lost for the year, the Vikings will be counting on their defense and running game to carry them to victory.
