Rob Gronkowski is actually our highest projected tight end, but he still has not practiced this week. With the uncertainty around Gronk, Greg Olsen is the next best option at the position after reeling in 7 of 9 targets for 73 yards in Week 1. Only two tight ends were targeted more than Olsen in Week 1, and no tight end caught more than six passes against Denver all of last year.
Olsen was targeted on 2 of Carolina’s 4 red zone passes, and he saw 29.03% of their total targets. Jason Witten was the only tight end to see a higher market share of his team’s targets in Week 1.
The Panthers have the highest implied total on the board this week, lining Olsen up for another great game.
