3. Tyrod Taylor’s Air Raid Ignition (Remix)

It’s the remix to Taylor’s ignition, and -- boy -- did this play ever come out hot and fresh from the kitchen. The Bills liked that first quarter result so much that they tried it again in the third quarter, down 10 points. For two teams that seemed to be predicated on defense, this game turned into an aerial onslaught, but the Bills were grooving on this play.

At the outset of the second half, the Bills had the ball just beyond their own 20-yard line. The pocket collapsed, thanks to Jets’ defensive lineman Leonard Williams and outside linebacker Julian Stanford, and Taylor rolled right out of the mayhem in the scrum. The Jets’ rushers chased him, but Taylor just flicked his wrist on the run and launched a beautiful pass to a wide-open Greg Salas nearly 50 yards downfield. All Salas had to do was outrace the defensive backs to the end zone, and the Bills closed the deficit to one score.
