Shane Vereen is another receiving back that is playing more than just passing downs.
Through two weeks, his 64 offensive snaps are only 2 fewer than Rashad Jennings, and Vereen has also averaged 10 carries and 4 targets per game, compared to 15.5 carries and 2 targets for Jennings.
Jennings has been limited at Giants' practice this week with a thumb injury. While he is still expected to play, he could see his playing time cut down a bit, which is what happened when he was out-snapped by Vereen in Week 2.
The Giants backs also have a great matchup this week versus Washington. Washington's defense has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing running backs to start the season, and they allowed above-average production to the position in 2015, as well.
