FanDuel Price: $7,500
Projected Points: 11.90
After leading the Washington Redskins in receptions last season and finishing as the third-best tight end in fantasy football, Jordan Reed has had a quiet start to this season, and we expect him to turn that around this week.
His nine targets per game this season are tied with Jason Witten for the most among tight ends, and his 67 yards per game is the fourth-best mark at his position. The only thing missing is a touchdown.
Reed received 26.97% of Washington’s red zone targets last season -- a higher percentage than any other tight end -- which indicates his 1.5 red zone targets per game this season will increase.
The matchup is also good for Reed, who averaged 13.20 FanDuel points against the New York Giants last season. With the Giants’ top three cornerbacks all allowing fewer than 0.25 fantasy points per route to opposing wide receivers, we can expect Reed to be a focal point of the Washington offense in Week 3.
