After a number of injuries to star players in Week 2, Week 3 offered some clarity on how those players will be replaced.

Jordan Howard, RB, Chicago Bears

Jordan Howard was going to be on this list following an his debut in Week 2, but now that Jeremy Langford is dealing with an ankle injury suffered in the Sunday night game against the Dallas Cowboys, Howard becomes one of the top waiver-wire adds of the week.

Against Dallas, Howard finished with 9 carries for 45 yards. He added 4 catches for 47 yards on 6 targets. This was one week after he ran for 22 yards on 3 carries against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night, which was his first action of the season.

Throughout the offseason, there were rumblings of whether Howard could supplant Langford as the Bears' primary ballcarrier. Now, if Langford will miss any time, the rookie from Indiana would be in line to see the lion's share of carries for Chicago with Ka'Deem Carey already banged up.
