Amid all of the Stefon Diggs breakout hype, fantasy owners have overlooked Kyle Rudolph, who quietly is tied with Diggs in targets since the takeover of Sam Bradford as the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings. On the year, Rudolph comes in just a single target behind Diggs, averaging 8.7 per game. He also leads the team in red zone targets.
Rudolph is also first among Minnesota offensive skill position players in snaps, playing all but 9 of their 175 offensive snaps. He's coming off of his best performance of the season, a 7-catch, 70-yard, 1-score output against the Carolina Panthers. That game also marks his second consecutive game as the recipient of a Sam Bradford touchdown pass.
In Week 4, he gets one of the best possible matchups on the board against the New York Giants, who gave up the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2015. They've been mediocre against tight ends this season, but with Diggs covered by New York's very capable corners, it would make a lot of sense for Bradford to continue to look Rudolph's way.
