Despite managing only 13.08 fantasy points in Week 3, Cam Newton still has the fifth-most fantasy points of any player this season.

Last week, he still threw for 265 yards and added another 26 on the ground, but his performance was derailed by three interceptions. It was a tough matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, who rank third in Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back.

This week, he is in a much better spot against the Atlanta Falcons, who have given up the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. In each game, they have allowed the opposing quarterback to throw at least three touchdown passes.

The Panthers are 3-point favorites, and their 26.50 implied total is the third highest of any team this week, giving Newton a great opportunity to rebound off of his worst fantasy performance since Week 1 of last season.
