Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 4
Avery Williamson has a high floor for production this week against the fairly balanced Houston Texans.

Kendall Langford, Defensive End

In bye weeks, we have to look to unconventional places for interesting streaming candidates in IDP fantasy football: a defensive tackle on a bad defense, an early-down-only defensive end on a bad defense, and a 30-year old 3-4 defensive end with just two tackles so far in 2016. Indianapolis Colts's Kendall Langford is the third of those players, and with no sacks or quarterback hits so far in 2016, he has perhaps the riskiest fantasy profile of our options, but he’s still an interesting play for Week 4.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have afforded opposing defenses the 10th-highest sack percentage in the league, and have given up a middle-of-the-road number of hurries (14), which is the perfect antidote for a struggling Colts’ defense. To top it all off, there will be good opportunities for stuffs too; the Jaguars’ running backs are getting hit for a loss on 19.0 percent of their rushing attempts. Even if Langford can’t get into the backfield, he should be able to play -- and stuff -- the run.

Langford is available in 96.4% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for 2.78 tackles, 0.29 sacks, and a total score of 4.13 fantasy points in Week 4.
