Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 4
What do the odds say about Week 4 for certain players -- like Todd Gurley's career performance as a underdog -- and how can your fantasy teams benefit?

Start Kirk Cousins as a Favorite

Washington -- or as my grandfather from western Pennsylvania calls it, WORSH-ington -- is favored to beat the Cleveland Browns by 7.5 points, tied for the largest spread of the week.

Kirk Cousins took over the starting role in 2015, so we have a small sample with which to work. Cousins has been favored in only three games since the start of 2015, and in those three games, he has averaged 26.03 fantasy points per game. His team was never favored by seven points or more during that timeframe, so this is uncharted territory for him.

Another favorable trend -- Washington games have gone over the projected Vegas total 13 out of 20 games since the start of 2015. The current total is 46 points, which has risen slightly from 45.5 points. Washington has an implied total of 26.75 points, the second-highest of the week.

Cousins is an affordable $7,600 on Fanduel, ranking 16th among quarterbacks. At this price, per recent trends, he is very likely to exceed his cost.
