FanDuel Price: $6,900
Matt Jones is coming off a monster week in which he rushed 22 times for 117 yards and a touchdown against the Cleveland Browns. He scored 20.8 FanDuel points last week.
Jones' 4.43 Rushing NEP ranks sixth among running backs who have at least 25 rushing attempts this season. His Rushing NEP per attempt has been equally efficient, ranking seventh in that group.
Jones has been the workhorse in Washington all season, getting nearly 70 percent of the team's carries. And volume is something we covet in NFL DFS for running backs. So why am I sour on Jones?
First of all, he's a road underdog playing the Baltimore Ravens, who are favored by four points in M&T Bank Stadium. Last season, only Todd Gurley was able to come into the Ravens' house as a road underdog and score more than 14 FanDuel points (he scored 14.97).
Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill were the only other two underdog running backs to score double-digit FanDuel points, and they did it in the same game.
So far in 2016, no opposing running back has scored more than 10.11 points at MT&T Bank Stadium, and as a position, opposing running backs have averaged just 5.02 FanDuel points in Baltimore.
Perhaps most importantly, the Ravens are the top-ranked team in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP in 2016.
Our projections have Jones scoring 10.5 points this week. With a salary of $6,900, that gives him a FanDuel value of 1.52 -- 26th among running backs in Week 5.
