Fantasy Football: Redrafting the First Round After 5 Weeks
With the opportunity to redraft the first round of your fantasy draft, which players should round out the top 12?

3. Antonio Brown, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

The consensus top pick in fantasy this past year drops a bit in our redraft, but that has little to do with his on-field production. Antonio Brown has continued to play a starring role in one the league's premier passing offenses.

Through five weeks, Brown leads all receivers in total fantasy points and fantasy points per game, and has seen double-digit targets in all but one contest. Oh, and in that game where he saw just five targets, he just happened to score a touchdown on two of them.

Tied with Michael Crabtree for the NFL lead with five receiving touchdowns, Brown is now second in the NFL in targets behind Mike Evans and tops in the league with 37 receptions. That said, his Reception NEP per target is a sub-elite 0.79, which simply means that we haven't yet seen the explosive plays that would allow Brown to move from "one of the best this season" into the clear-cut top receiver.

And knowing how good Brown has looked this season, I have no doubt those big plays are coming. His production so far this season easily puts his as the top receiver in a redrafted first round and one of the top players to own in fantasy moving forward. That said, his overall scoring still puts him behind the running backs, which also happens to be a more difficult position to find dominant production.
