Perhaps another surprise selection, T.Y. Hilton was the 17th receiver off the board in preseason ADP, but is currently fifth among receivers in fantasy points and fantasy points per game for players with more than 10 receptions.
While Hilton did predictably struggle against the Broncos, he has posted double-digit targets in every game this season and has scored a touchdown in each of his past three contests. He's third in the league in receptions (35) and fourth in receiving yards (507).
Hilton is Andrew Luck's top target by far, and out-targeted Donte Moncrief 12 to 7 in Week 1 (when the latter was healthy), although Moncrief did score a touchdown. Hilton's performance against the Broncos was his only single-digit fantasy performance all season. He's been consistent and explosive all season on a team featuring one of the worst defenses in the league.
Hilton's 0.82 Reception NEP per target is fourth in the NFL amongst the top 24 most targeted receivers, and he is tied for first in the league with A.J. Green for Reception Successes (31).
Hilton has proven to be capable as both a volume heavy possession target, but is also capable of making explosive plays down the field and after the catch, and can gain separation in the red zone as well. He's on pace to finish easily as a top-five player at his position and is well worth a first-round pick in a redraft.
