Ezekiel Elliott Leads the NFL With 546 Rushing Yards

Ezekiel Elliott has 85 more rushing yards than any other player this season. He also leads all running backs with 109 carries, putting him on pace for 348.8 carries over the 16-game season.

The rookie running back has increased his yards per carry average in every game this year, most recently averaging 8.9 yards on 15 carries against the Bengals in Week 5. On the season, he is now averaging 5.0 yards per carry for a total of 546 rushing yards and 5 touchdowns.

He is currently on pace for 1,747 rushing yards this season, which would be the second-most ever by a rookie.

Elliott will get his toughest test of the season in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers who haven’t allowed any opposing running back to reach 40 rushing yards this season.
