3 Daily Fantasy Football Players to Avoid in Week 6
Andrew Luck is a road underdog, a situation in which he has struggled lately. Who else should you avoid in Week 6?

DeSean Jackson, Washington Redskins

FanDuel Price: $6,400

While it's very tempting to take a walk down la calle narrativa, DeSean Jackson has delivered a mixed bag against his former employers. And most of the time, that bag has been filled with rotten bananas. In his last three games against the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson has averaged 13.6 FanDuel points per game. That average is inflated by a 20.2-point performance back in September of 2014. Since his initial meeting with Philly, Jackson has averaged 10.3 FanDuel points and was held to just 6.0 points in his only game against them last season.

The Eagles are the top-ranked team this year in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per drop back. They have held opposing wide receivers to the fewest catches (47) and touchdowns (1), fourth-fewest receiving yards (669), and fifth-fewest FanDuel points per game (26.0). Only one receiver, who happens to be super-stud Antonio Brown, has scored more than 13.2 points against the Eagles in 2016.

There are currently 66 wide receivers in the NFL who have at least 15 receptions this season. Jackson's 19.571 Reception NEP ranks 46th among that group. His Reception NEP per target is slightly more efficient thanks to his big-play ability, but it is still unimpressive, ranking 44th in that group of receivers.

This game currently has an over/under of 44.5, the 4th-lowest total on FanDuel's Sunday main slate. The Redskins, who are 2.5-point underdogs at home, have a meager implied total of 21, the 7th-lowest clip of the main slate.

If Leodis McKelvin can't go because of a hamstring injury, Jackson will have a better shot of producing. But the Eagles pass defense is very good, and the numbers don't indicate this is a spot where Jackson will go off, although he's always one deep ball away from a big day.
