If you aren't already streaming the kicker position, you should be. Streaming is the act of dropping and adding new players at certain positions with the intention of starting them for that week. Instead of just leaving the same kicker in your lineup every week, you can use some information on kickers to try and gain an edge.

numberFire's Jim Sannes wrote an article in January on how kickers performed based on measures such as Vegas spreads, implied totals, and favorites versus underdogs. Based on his findings, we need to target kickers on teams that are heavily favored, with implied team total as the tiebreaker.

In Week 7, Mike Nugent meets the trends that we look for in a kicker. The aforementioned Bengals are currently favored by 9.5 points. According to Sannes, kickers on teams favored by 5 to 9.5 points scored an average of 8.74 points per game.

Put a stranglehold on your kicker position and start Nugent this week.
