Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 7
Brian Robison has been an ageless wonder for IDP fantasy football players in 2016.

Brian Robison, Defensive End

Despite turning 33 in April, Minnesota Vikings defensive end Brian Robison hasn’t slowed down in his production in the least this year, putting up four sacks over his last four games played and topping 5.0 fantasy points in four of his five games played this season. He’s clearly benefitted from the others on his defense drawing attention away from him, and there’s no reason to believe that will slow; he’s consistently generated pressure (with the 12th-highest sack rate in the league) and production (two tackles in each of four of five games).

In Week 7, Robison draws a date with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Iggles have allowed the seventh-highest sack rate to opposing defenses through Week 6, despite a fairly low number of passing plays. While this seems a bit like a boom-or-bust situation, the Eagles’ right tackle spot has been a mess, and they will be more concerned with stopping defensive end Danielle Hunter and defensive tackle Linval Joseph. Robison will get his shots at a big play.

Robison is available in 97.4% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for 2.12 tackles, 0.70 sacks, and a total score of 4.60 fantasy points in Week 7.
