5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 7
Mike Evans has been a target hog in Tampa Bay. Will Vincent Jackson's absence allow him to maintain his ridiculous pace?

Mike Evans Leads All Wide Receivers With 32.05% of His Team’s Targets

Mike Evans has been targeted 75 times through six games this season, and he is on pace for a career-high 200 targets. He is only one target shy of league-leader T.Y. Hilton, despite playing one less game.

Evans also leads all wide receivers with 6 touchdowns, and he ranks 2nd with 15.1 standard fantasy points per game.

With Vincent Jackson on injured reserve, Evans will likely continue to see this high volume. Since Evans came into the league in 2014, he has averaged 12.57 targets per game with Jackson out, compared to only 8.83 when Jackson has played.
