Eric Ebron returned from a three-game absence to show more of the same promise he displayed early in the season, catching 7-of-10 targets for 79 yards against a tough Houston Texans pass defense.
Unlike Brate, Ebron has dominated the tight end playing time when healthy, playing 87% of the offensive snaps in his five games this season. He has averaged seven targets per game when able to suit up, accounting for an 18% market share of Matthew Stafford's pass attempts during that time.
This week's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings isn't an overly inviting one, but Ebron showed us last week that he can remain productive in a tough matchup. With Marvin Jones and Golden Tate both dealing with tough matchups against Xavier Rhodes and Captain Munnerlyn, Ebron may be heavily involved once again.
