Cameron Brate turned in yet another strong streaming performance last week, playing 79% of the tight end snaps for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and turning his 6 targets into 5 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown. That marked the fourth time out of six games as a starter in which he has reached double digit fantasy points in PPR formats.
Brate's touchdown gives him four scores in his last six games, and his 50% market share of targets from inside the 10-yard line easily leads the team.
In Week 10, Brate will have a tougher matchup against the Chicago Bears, who have covered tight ends well this season. However, he should again be able to help those in need of a fill-in tight end, as he is the second-most targeted pass-catcher since taking over as the primary tight end and has carved out a significant role for himself in the red zone. If Mike Evans (concussion) happens to sit out, Brate would be a huge boost in value.
