Yes, you should put in a waiver claim for a guy who is owned in essentially zero ESPN and Yahoo leagues. Tennessee Titans’ stud rookie running back Derrick Henry injured his calf in pregame warmups on Sunday and didn’t even attempt to give it a go against the San Diego Chargers.
In his stead, Antonio Andrews played the change-of-pace role behind DeMarco Murray in Week 9. He only carried the ball twice as the Titans were trailing nearly the entire game, but he’ll be the primary backup until Henry returns.
In Week 8, Murray injured his toe but returned to practice. If he aggravates that injury, it will be Andrews as the lead back in the Titans’ run-heavy offense. If you’re looking to handcuff Murray or if you have an extra spot on your bench for a running back flier, Andrews fits the bill, especially if you can't snag a player such as DuJuan Harris off the waiver wire this week.
