Jeremy Maclin did not practice on Thursday, and he looks unlikely to play this week. leaving Chris Conley as the Kansas City Chiefs' top wideout.
Conley led the Chiefs receivers in snaps in Week 9, and his 79% of the team's offensive snaps played on the season are only 2% behind Maclin for the most in the position group.
He also leads the Chiefs' wideouts with 0.76 Reception NEP per target, and while that doesn't show overly impressive efficiency, he has the benefit of the solid matchup against Carolina, which we outlined for Alex Smith.
The Panthers rank much worse against the pass (19th) than the run (4th), and as with the quarterback position, that has lead to their giving up top-five fantasy production to opposing wide receivers.
