Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 10
What do the odds have to say about Carson Wentz's fantasy football potential for Week 10?

Start Chandler Catanzaro as a Heavy Favorite

numberFire's Jim Sannes wrote a fantastic article in January on how kickers performed based on measures such as Vegas spreads, implied totals, and favorites versus underdogs. Based on his findings, we need to target kickers on teams that are heavily favored, with implied team total as the tiebreaker.

In Week 10, we are targeting kicker Chandler Catanzaro of the Arizona Cardinals because they are favored to win by 13.5 points, which is the highest spread of the week.

Arizona also has the highest implied total of the week at 30.75 points. Sannes found that kickers playing on a team with an implied total of 30 or higher went on to score a monster average of 10.64 fantasy points per game from 2012 to 2014.

Catanzaro has also done slightly better at home during his young career. He has averaged 7.52 points per game at home, which is about 0.4 better than his away average.

Catanzaro, who has the upside of a top kicker, only costs $4,500 on FanDuel, which is the minimum price among kickers, making him a perfect option for those who want to spend up at other positions.
