We're already through Week 9, meaning there are just four weeks left in the fantasy regular season.
It's not too early to start thinking about the playoffs, especially if you're off to a good start and cruising toward a postseason berth. This is particularly true if you're in a (criminal) league where all of the spoils go to the playoff champ while the regular-season winner gets a pat on the back. A good draft followed by savvy trades and solid waiver pickups can go to waste with one bad week in the playoffs.
You can give yourself the best chance to avoid a Peyton Manning postseason -- one and done -- by looking ahead at playoff matchups in an effort to set yourself up for success. Again, this advice only applies to teams currently bossing their league. If you're fighting to make the playoffs, then you need production now, but if you have the luxury of giving up some Week 10 points in favor of nabbing some players with mouth-watering matchups when it really counts, it's something you should investigate.
The aim with this series is to look down the road and show you which teams have juicy playoff matchups and which teams end the year with a tough schedule. Since the postseason in most leagues runs from Week 14 to Week 16, those are the weeks on which we'll focus.
In the first installment, we looked at some passing games to target, and we followed that up by checking out some aerial attacks to avoid. Now, we're moving on to the ground game. We've peeped three rushing attacks that are in a good spot, so let's conclude the series by taking a look at three running games to stay away from in the fantasy playoffs.
