FanDuel Price: $6,400
It's tough to find reasons to roster Willie Snead this week.
The matchup against the Denver Broncos is brutal, even with Aqib Talib expected to sit. Denver has allowed the fewest fantasy points to wideouts, and Talib's absence shouldn't have a big impact on Snead, who will likely see a lot of Chris Harris in the slot.
Difficult matchup aside, Snead has fallen down the pecking order after a hot start to the year. Snead's market share of 14.91% is a distant third on the team behind both Michael Thomas (18.42%) and Brandin Cooks (18.13%). The drop in usage has resulted in Snead posting better than a WR3 finish (top 36) just once since Week 2.
On top of all that, Thomas, who has become the top weapon in New Orleans, is the same price as Snead. Thomas leads the team in targets, red zone targets, catches and touchdowns. If you want exposure to the Saints' passing game, that's probably the route to go.
The only feather in Snead's cap is that he should be pretty low-owned. If you're looking to be contrarian and think Snead can buck the odds this week, he's probably not going to see lower ownership in any home game the rest of the way. He's not a good cash-game investment, though.
