Colin Kaepernick did what quarterbacks are supposed to do against the New Orleans Saints pass defense in Week 9 -- he shredded them. It was fair to assume that he would come back down to Earth against the Arizona Cardinals, but Kaepernick actually surpassed his output from the New Orleans game in Sunday's last-minute loss.
Kaepernick has long been known for his rushing ability, and he showcased his legs against the Cardinals, carrying the ball 10 times for 55 yards and a touchdown. Performances like this on the ground almost ensure top-12 numbers at the quarterback position.
Additionally, Chip Kelly's quarterbacks are almost always fantasy relevant due to the tempo of the offenses, and Kaepernick's propensity to run gives him immense upside in this system. He is currently averaging 57 rushing yards per game.
