With Jeremy Maclin sitting out due to injury, Tyreek Hill played the role of the top receiver, hauling in 10 of his 13 targets for 89 scoreless yards. Prior to Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, Hill had served as more of a big-play threat, bringing a boom-bust element to his game.

In Maclin's absence, though, the Kansas City Chiefs needed Hill to work underneath more -- and he responded. We've seen that Alex Smith can struggle to support more than one pass catcher for fantasy purposes, so Hill's stay as the top dog might be short lived. Having said that, Hill was more effective today than Maclin has been all season, and groin injuries can be tricky.

Now we know that Hill would be a viable WR3 in Maclin's absence, with veritable upside for more.
