Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 11

Start Matthew Stafford as a Favorite

The Detroit Lions are 6.5-point home favorites versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. This bodes well for Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford.

According to the Rotoviz Game Splits App, in 53 career games as a favorite, Stafford has averaged 25.13 fantasy points per game. To put that into perspective, his career average as a favorite is better than the per-game averages of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning when they are favorites.

The Lions have an implied total of 26.75 points, the fifth-highest on the weekend slate. Games involving the Jags have gone over the over/under six out of nine times this season.

Stafford is priced at $7,900, the eighth-highest among quarterbacks on FanDuel. At that price, he is safe to start in cash games as well as tournaments due to his high floor and even higher upside.
