It may seem odd to recommend a player in the same backfield as teammate Rob Kelley, who just went off in Week 11, but there's room in this backfield for two productive players.
Kelley may be the between the tackles runner on this team, but Chris Thompson seems to have snared the third-down role in this prolific offense.
For some context, Marcus Mariota has been balling out recently, & he still has just 74.67 Passing NEP for the entire season. Kirk's dealing.

While Week 11 was a bit quiet for Thompson in Washington's thrashing of the Green Bay Packers, Thompson had three or more receptions in each of the last four weeks prior to Week 11. Over that same time span, Thompson has carried the ball 9, 12, 7, and 4 times, respectively, so the total touches are there.
Given the volatility at the position and the efficiency at which the Washington Redskins are performing, you want exposure to this offense. In point-per-reception leagues, Thompson is a must-add.
