After losing the starting gig in Week 8, Mark Ingram has rebounded nicely finishing with strong performances on fewer touches and snaps. Week 12 was no exception, with Ingram finishing with 146 rushing yards and a score on 14 carries. He also scored through the air on his lone reception for a 21-yard touchdown.
The Saints' offense was putting up points with little resistance from the Los Angeles Rams, and they turned what looked like a first-half shootout into a second-half blowout. New Orleans dropped 49 points on Los Angeles, and Drew Brees' efficient passing was able to create some big running lanes for Ingram and Tim Hightower to run through. Ingram added a whopping +8.37 Rushing NEP, the highest among all running backs this week. He also added +4.45 to his Reception NEP with his big scoring reception, turning it quite the performance on just 56.8 percent of the snaps.
Ingram finished as this week's RB2 in PPR scoring formats, just behind David Johnson. Despite the tumultuous performance from week to week, Ingram still ranks as a top-12 PPR running back in total fantasy points and points per game.
