Josh Hill is flying way under the radar this week, and while he's not a safe fantasy option -- with coming up completely empty within his range of possible outcomes -- he's likely available in even the deepest of leagues, and he has some serious promise.
I already touched on the huge over/under in the Saints/Lions game, and as the favorites, New Orleans has a 29.75-point implied total -- the highest mark of the week. The Lions have struggled against the pass, ranking 31st in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, and they have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
Hill leads Saints tight ends in snaps, has out-snapped Coby Fleener in three of the last four games, and saw a season-high six targets on Sunday while leading this group with 21 routes run, per Nathan Jahnke of ProFootballFocus.
The Lions have allowed 12-plus PPR points to eight different tight ends this season. With his solid volume and scoring potential in the New Orleans offense, it would come as no surprise if Hill also managed to top that mark.
