5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 13

Alex Smith Is Averaging 9.4 More Fantasy Points per Game at Home vs. on the Road

Alex Smith has been held under 13 FanDuel points in five of seven road games this season, for an average of 10.58 points per game. Brock Osweiler and Sam Bradford are the only two quarterbacks to play in at least five road games and have a lower fantasy average than Smith.

Kansas City's signal-caller been a different player at home, averaging 19.98 points over four games, which ranks seventh among all quarterbacks. He has racked up at least 13 points in each of those contests, including 17 or more three times and a high of 29.02.

No quarterback who has played in at least one game both at home and on the road has a bigger split in fantasy points than Smith.

Luckily for any owners who held onto him, his only remaining away game comes in Week 17, which is after the conclusion of many fantasy playoffs. His next two matchups come at home against defenses that are giving up the 11th- and 5th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, making Smith a valuable asset.

However, owners beware, Smith will be up against the Denver Broncos in Week 16, who have held opposing quarterbacks to the fewest points per game of any team.
