5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 13

The Oakland Raiders' 12 Sacks Allowed Are the Fewest of any Team

Through 12 games, the Oakland Raiders are currently on pace to allow just 16 sacks, which would be less than half of the 33 sacks they gave up in 2015. If they can maintain this pace, they will become the first team since 2010 to allow less than 17 sacks over a 16-game season.

Keeping opposing defenses away from their quarterback has played a big part in Oakland giving up the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing defenses.

Over their past three games, the Raiders have allowed just one total sack, but will get a big test against the Chiefs, who have tallied at least one sack in 11 of 12 games. The Week 7 meeting between these two marked one of only four games all year where the Raiders have allowed multiple sacks.

Meanwhile, David Carr is sitting at home thinking about how life is always easier for the younger sibling.
