Chalk
I really just want to throw in a shrug emoji here, as no quarterbacks jump off the page as obvious chalk. Part of the reason is that there are quite a few in solid spots and they're pretty clustered in pricing.
Still, it's looking likely that Jameis Winston ($8,200 on FanDuel), Russell Wilson ($7,900), and Kirk Cousins ($7,600), are going to be popular picks.
Pivots
Andrew Luck ($8,200) - Luck hosts the Houston Texans, who are eighth against fantasy quarterbacks this year. However, they are 21st in Adjusted Defensive Passing Kevin Johnson has gone to injured reserve, Johnathan Joseph has two cracked ribs, and Jadeveon Clowney is banged up -- but will play.
The perceived matchup should dampen Luck's ownership, and he helps you avoid Winston and Wilson.
Eli Manning ($7,700) - With Cousins, Wilson, and Andy Dalton ($7,600) so close in price to Manning, he probably won't be very popular. Manning's New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys, who have been struggling since the loss of Morris Claiborne.
This game has the third-highest over/under of the week at 47.5 points, and with Manning's struggles, he's probably going to be an afterthought despite the matchup against the 17th-ranked defense against fantasy passers this year. Dallas also ranks 28th against the pass by NEP since Week 7.
