FanDuel Price: $6,600
Imagine this before the season: Allen Robinson is the 21st-most expensive wideout in a given week -- cheaper than Kenny Britt, Terrelle Pryor and Tyrell Williams -- and he's still a player to avoid.
At this point in the year, with the way Robinson's season has gone, the only positive he has going for him is that he'll likely be so low-owned -- he was owned in less than 1% of all entries last week on FanDuel -- that he could pay off in a big way in tournaments if you catch lightning in a bottle. Keep dreaming, though.
Robinson has made a total of 8 catches for 73 yards over the past three weeks, adding one touchdown to give him 17.3 FanDuel points over that span. Only four times this year has A-Rob's weekly output ranked among the top-30 wideouts in a week.
This is probably too obvious, but he's just not worth the investment, especially in another brutal matchup. Robinson appeared in this series last week because he was taking on the Denver Broncos, and this week's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings isn't much better. Led by corner Xavier Rhodes, the Vikings are allowing the second-fewest FanDuel points to opposing wideouts, and they have the league's second-ranked pass defense, according to our metrics.
Robinson is what he is, and that is a player we can't trust in DFS -- or any fantasy format -- until further notice.
