Melvin Gordon was carted off the field with a hip injury after just three carries against the Carolina Panthers, which forced rookie Kenneth Farrow into a larger role. Early reports regarding Gordon have been promising, but until his MRI results come back, Farrow profiles as a must-add.
Farrow took on an every-down role for the San Diego Chargers upon Gordon's exit and turned 22 touches into 78 yards from scrimmage. Ronnie Hillman was inactive for the game and could steal some touches from Farrow going forward, but if Gordon is unable to go, it will likely be Farrow handling the majority of the work in two plus-matchups against the Oakland Raiders and Cleveland Browns in the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs.
He is likely going to be the most-highly sought after player in fantasy this week, and for good reason.
