The Green Bay Packers defense has largely been a disappointment -- they rank 22nd in numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics. But over the past three weeks, they've been impressive, finishing as a top-10 fantasy defense each time.

Over that span, the Packers haven't allowed more than 13 points in a game while accumulating 9 sacks and 8 turnovers. The turnover figure is inflated since they registered six against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 14, but it's still impressive.

This week, the Packers square off against Matt Barkley and the Chicago Bears. Barkley has been respectable as the Bears starting quarterback, but Vegas has listed Green Bay as a 6.5-point favorite.

The last time Barkley was forced to play from behind -- in Week 12 against the Titans -- he threw two interceptions.

If you're down this far, the Packers defense has some upside given the favorable matchup.
